"Uncertainty"

We've been through so much,
we've cried so many tears,
and we'd even given up on eachother.
We had our quarrels
and our disappointments,
and we even said our goodbyes.
Here you are again,
back in my life and heart,
and I'm unsure of what to do.
Will it be the same
as it was the last time,
and will our love end yet again?
Scared and hesitant,
unsure of you and me,
not wanting to be hurt again.
One day at a time...
see where the road will lead,
for that's all we can really do.
